SmartTrain is an equestrian training application that uses the horses heart rate to track training progress and help trainers and riders develop training plans. It will use a sensor to detect the heart rate during a ride. It is currently still under development.
When I began this project, I spent a long time conducting user research to find out exactly what riders wanted. Many of the extremely athletic riders wanted a way to log their rides and track progress, in a way similar to their own athletic tracking Apps. Other riders, who trained multiple horses, wanted a way to keep track of each horse's progress in in one place.
When designing SmartTrain, I wanted to keep the interface simple, clean, and bright. Many of the other equestrian applications are difficult to read or follow.
This App click-through demonstrates how SmartTrain works. It show examples of SmartTrain being used with and without the sensor.

The Girl Code Movement (GCM) is an anti-sexual assault organization that strives to raises awareness in college women so that they may become empowered bystanders who can help stop rape. They host a walk-a-thon every spring. This is the campaign I designed for the 2016 walk-a-thon. The goal was to create a campaign that embodied the GCM style and convey this style in a clean, bold design. I create a set of posters, a Facebook cover photo, Instagram posts, and three options for Snapchat geofilters.

This catalog was a collaboration between myself and a student photographer. I acted as the art director and the designer. We wanted to create a fashion-style catalog that depicts food in a different, messier, light. My goal was to emphasize how much fun a mess can be.

#wearorange is a national campaign that focuses on fighting to end gun violence. For this campaign I created a series of digital and print advertisements, as well as merchandise. My goal was to target a younger audience. I wanted to play on the idea that we are human, but that when we stand up against gun violence we are superheroes. In order to appeal to my audience I kept my designs clean and fun.

My goal was to create a fun, cohesive brand that reflects the retro, funky, and hip feel of the shop. I also wanted to incorporate aspects of Sicilian and Danish design in order to bridge the two cultures.
Initially, we had to come up with a new logo and style guide. We also had to make packaging for gelato cups, coffee cups and other print deliverables that would be useful in the shop.

Papirøen is a man-made island that has been used to store newspaper for the past few decades. Today, it is home to local businesses such as architecture firms, fashion studios, and a food truck hall.
Papirøen is currently undergoing a complete redesign. For this project, I created a brand, way finding icons, a way finding system, a website, and an App.
I wanted to reflect Papirøen's fun, modern, and authentic atmosphere as well as provide an interactive experience through the way finding.

This project gave me an opportunity to work with the Syracuse CIty School District. I, along with with my photographer Lis Webber, worked with AVID, an advanced placement program that helps students' development in critical thinking, literacy, and other academic endeavors in order to prepare them for college. I designed these over-sized postcards as promotional items that would be appealing to students and to their parents.
RAP is a Syracuse City School District program dedicated to helping refugees get jobs, learn English, and understand life in America. This program has a very long wait-list of potential students, so the focus for this brochure is informing employers how the program benifits the refugees and prepairs them for work. All Photography was done by Lis Webber.
